Font & Co.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Concierge Company is a specialized service model designed to simplify complex needs by giving the client a central point of coordination.

The concept is already used internationally across business expansion, private client services, relocation, market entry, and other areas where a client may need to interact with multiple professionals, institutions, and service providers to accomplish a broader objective.

Instead of requiring the client to identify, evaluate, and coordinate every resource independently, a Concierge Company begins by understanding the client's situation and what they are trying to accomplish.

From there, the concierge helps organize the process, identify the resources that may be required, coordinate the appropriate relationships, and keep the different pieces connected around the client's objective.

At Font & Co., this model is focused on individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and companies navigating opportunities in the United States.

A client may need banking relationships, real estate, business resources, credit or lending connections, accounting, tax, legal, insurance, or other specialized support. These needs often involve different institutions and independently qualified professionals.

Our role is to understand the bigger picture and serve as a central point of coordination.

You maintain control over your decisions. The appropriate professionals provide their specialized expertise. Font & Co. helps connect and coordinate the pieces.

We work with international business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, families, and private clients looking to establish, invest, expand, or develop interests in the United States.

Some clients come to us with an established company they want to bring to the U.S. Others want to start a business, purchase property, explore opportunities, establish banking relationships, or better understand how to navigate the U.S. system.

You do not need to know exactly what services you need before contacting us. Understanding your objective is where we begin.

No. In fact, many of the clients we are designed to assist are outside the United States when the relationship begins.

We can begin by understanding your objectives remotely, identifying what may be required in the U.S., and coordinating the appropriate next steps, resources, and professional relationships.

When your physical presence is required for a particular process, meeting, or transaction, we help you understand when and why.

We start by understanding your existing business, your market, and what you want to accomplish in the United States.

From there, we can help coordinate areas such as market research, entry and launch planning, business establishment, commercial real estate, banking relationships, credit and financing resources, local vendors, strategic partnerships, and connections with qualified legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and other professionals when needed.

The objective is not simply to replicate what worked in another country. It is to understand what your business needs to operate within the U.S. market and coordinate the right path forward.

Yes. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out.

We begin with your idea, available resources, experience, objectives, and the market you are considering.

From there, we can help you organize the process, explore the market, identify operational needs, and coordinate the professionals and resources that may be required.

Depending on the project, that may involve business formation, accounting and tax professionals, banking, credit, real estate, insurance, vendors, or other specialized resources.

Our role is to help turn an unclear starting point into an organized path forward.

We begin by understanding what you are looking to accomplish with the property, your preferred market, approximate budget, timeline, and whether the purchase is intended for personal use, business purposes, or as an investment.

From there, we can help coordinate the different relationships that may be involved, including real estate professionals, lenders, banking institutions, attorneys, title companies, insurance professionals, accountants, and other specialists when appropriate.

For international clients, purchasing property in the United States can involve more than simply finding the right property. Our role is to help you understand the process, identify the resources you may need, and keep the different parties coordinated around your objective.

The purchase decision remains yours, and all licensed services are provided by the appropriate independent professionals.

Yes. You do not need to know exactly where you want to invest before speaking with us.

We begin by understanding what you are trying to accomplish, your available resources, timeline, existing experience, and the type of opportunities you are interested in exploring.

Depending on your objectives, that conversation may involve real estate, starting a business, acquiring an existing business, or connecting with appropriately licensed financial professionals and institutions to discuss other alternatives.

Font & Co. does not recommend securities or make investment decisions on your behalf. Our role is to help you organize the starting point and connect you with the appropriate professionals and resources to evaluate your options.

The first step is understanding what you want that capital to accomplish in the United States.

Some clients are looking to establish banking relationships. Others are considering real estate, business opportunities, access to U.S. financial institutions, or simply greater diversification across markets.

Your circumstances, source of funds, objectives, liquidity needs, tax considerations, and existing structure can all affect which professionals and institutions may need to be involved.

Font & Co. helps coordinate those conversations and connect you with appropriate banking institutions, licensed financial professionals, attorneys, accountants, tax professionals, real estate professionals, and other specialized resources when necessary.

We do not take custody of, manage, or make investment decisions regarding client assets.

Yes. We can help you understand the process and coordinate introductions to U.S. banking institutions based on your situation and objectives.

Depending on the client, this may involve personal banking, business banking, or conversations with institutions serving clients with more complex financial needs.

We can also help you prepare for the process by identifying the information and documentation an institution may request and coordinating with other professionals when necessary.

All account openings, approvals, compliance reviews, and banking decisions are made exclusively by the financial institution.

Yes. The U.S. credit system can be unfamiliar to international clients, particularly when they are establishing a personal or business presence for the first time.

We can help you understand the general landscape, identify what type of financing relationship may be relevant to your objective, and coordinate introductions to banks, lenders, and appropriate professionals.

Depending on the situation, this may relate to business credit, real estate financing, commercial lending, or other forms of credit.

Font & Co. is not a lender and does not approve, arrange, or guarantee financing. Credit decisions, terms, eligibility, and approvals are determined independently by the relevant financial institutions or licensed providers.

Yes. If your plans in the United States require a physical location, we can help coordinate the search based on your business, operational requirements, preferred market, approximate budget, and expansion plans.

This may include offices, retail locations, warehouses, commercial facilities, or other types of space depending on the project.

We can coordinate introductions to appropriate commercial real estate professionals and help keep the property search connected to the broader needs of your business, including location strategy, banking, financing, legal, insurance, and other considerations when relevant.

Our role is to help coordinate the process. Any licensed real estate brokerage or transaction services are performed by appropriately licensed independent professionals.

Yes. This is an important part of the Concierge model.

Entering or operating within the United States often requires more than one professional relationship. Depending on your objectives, you may need to interact with attorneys, accountants, tax professionals, banking institutions, lenders, insurance professionals, real estate specialists, business service providers, or other experts.

Instead of requiring you to identify and coordinate every relationship independently, Font & Co. can help determine which types of resources may be relevant to your situation and coordinate introductions to appropriate professionals and institutions.

Each independent professional remains responsible for the advice, services, recommendations, and work provided within their respective area of expertise.

Font & Co. remains focused on the bigger picture and on helping keep the different relationships connected around your objectives.

No.

Font & Co. is a Concierge Company and strategic coordinator. We do not operate as a law firm, accounting firm, tax adviser, investment adviser, broker dealer, bank, lender, wealth manager, or other regulated professional service provider.

Our role is to understand your objectives, help organize the process, identify the types of expertise that may be required, and coordinate access to appropriate independent professionals and institutions.

When your situation requires legal, accounting, tax, investment, banking, lending, insurance, real estate, or other licensed expertise, those services are provided directly by the corresponding qualified professional or institution.

This allows Font & Co. to remain focused on what we do best: understanding the broader objective and helping coordinate the different pieces around it.

You can absolutely contact each professional independently.

The value of a Concierge Company is not simply having access to a list of contacts. It is having someone who understands the broader objective and helps you determine which relationships may be needed, when they may be needed, and how the different pieces connect.

A bank may understand banking. An attorney may understand the legal component. An accountant may understand tax and accounting. A real estate professional may understand property.

But your objective may involve several of them at the same time.

Font & Co. helps maintain visibility over the bigger picture.

We learn what you are trying to accomplish, help organize the sequence of next steps, coordinate relevant introductions, and help keep communication and resources aligned around your objective.

For clients entering an unfamiliar market, this can reduce unnecessary confusion, duplicated efforts, and the time spent trying to determine who to contact next.

One relationship. Multiple needs. One central point of coordination.

We approach every introduction based on the specific needs of the client and the nature of the situation.

Our network has been developed through years of doing business, building relationships, and operating within the United States. When identifying a potential professional, institution, or service provider, we consider factors such as relevant experience, area of specialization, market knowledge, reputation, responsiveness, and suitability for the client's particular needs.

Not every client requires the same professional or institution. Our objective is to identify relationships that make sense for the specific situation rather than apply the same solution to every client.

When appropriate, clients may also be presented with more than one option so they can evaluate which relationship is best suited to their needs.

Any final selection, engagement, professional advice, approval, or transaction remains between the client and the independent professional, institution, or provider selected.

No.

Miami is one of our primary markets and an important gateway for international clients entering the United States, particularly those coming from Latin America.

However, our work is not limited to Miami.

Depending on the client's objectives and the type of project, we can help coordinate opportunities, relationships, and professional resources in other U.S. markets.

Our approach begins with the client's objective, not with a specific city.

If another market makes more sense for your business, investment plans, or personal objectives, we can help explore the appropriate path and determine which local resources may be required.

Yes.

In fact, this is one of the situations where the Concierge model can provide significant value.

Language is only one part of entering a new market. Understanding how institutions operate, what questions to ask, which professionals may be required, what documentation may be requested, and what to expect throughout a process can be equally important.

We understand the uncertainty that can come with navigating an unfamiliar system because we have experienced that transition ourselves.

Our role is to help make the process clearer, coordinate the appropriate relationships, and help you better understand the path ahead.

We currently serve clients in both English and Spanish.

Our fees depend on the scope, complexity, and level of coordination required for each engagement.

A client looking for guidance around a specific need may require a very different level of involvement from a company establishing operations in the United States or a private client coordinating multiple professional and institutional relationships.

For that reason, we do not apply the same fee structure to every situation.

We first review your objectives and determine how Font & Co. may be able to assist. If there is a fit, we define the scope of our involvement and explain our fees before beginning the engagement.

Any fees charged by independent attorneys, accountants, financial professionals, real estate professionals, banks, lenders, insurance providers, or other third parties are separate from Font & Co.'s fees and are established directly by those providers.

It begins with your situation, not with a predefined service package.

The first step is to tell us what you are trying to accomplish in the United States.

You can begin through our Private Concierge, where you will be asked a series of questions designed to help us understand who you are, your current situation, and your objectives.

Our team reviews the information personally.

If we believe Font & Co. can assist, we will contact you to discuss your case, identify potential next steps, and determine the appropriate scope of coordination.

You do not need to know exactly which service or professional you need before contacting us.

Understanding the objective comes first. The path is built from there.

We understand that clients may share sensitive business, financial, and personal information when discussing their objectives.

We treat client inquiries and the information shared with us with discretion and use that information to evaluate the client's needs and coordinate the requested services and relationships.

When information needs to be shared with an independent professional or institution in connection with a client's request, the appropriate information may be provided as necessary to facilitate that introduction or process.

We do not expect clients to provide passwords, banking credentials, or other access credentials through the Private Concierge.

For additional information regarding how information is collected, used, and handled, please review our Privacy Policy.

Absolutely.

In fact, many of the situations we encounter do not fit neatly into a predefined category.

You may have an established business and be considering expansion. You may have capital in another country and be exploring opportunities in the United States. You may want to purchase property, establish a company, understand banking options, or simply have an objective without knowing which professionals or resources you need.

That is precisely why the Concierge model begins with the client rather than with a fixed list of services.

Tell us what you are trying to accomplish.

We will review your situation and determine whether Font & Co. can assist directly through our coordination services or connect you with the appropriate independent resources.
